# Future The Full-AAR project will continue at least until summer 2025 thanks to the financial support by the NextGenEU instrument. The next steps: * An interactive AAR story will be created at the partner's location based on their narrative premises, using the technical prototype developed within Full-AAR as the platform * Narrative research will continue in collaboration with the partner, namely a museum * The first story at WHS in late 2023 will work as a pilot study to prepare for primary data collection during the collaborative project * Production processes and final experiences will be analysed to gather knowledge and best-practices for the use of the wider creative community * Work on the custom virtual acoustics engine will continue in co-operation with Aalto University Acoustics Lab * WHS’ own AAR prototype will be developed further in pursuit of finding a 6DoF AAR architecture that offers high enough quality for narrative purposes in a format that is convenient to use and install in challenging spaces such as complex historical buildings * Optimise the current camera-based outside-in tracking system towards reliability * Investigate into a camera-based inside-out tracking system using visual odometry * Develop a user-friendly authoring tool for creating interactive AAR content in a game engine * Improve the useability and durability of the headphone rig with consideration for public use * Test 3D printed, acoustically transparent headphones developed by Alexander Mülleder at the Gratz University of Technology
